One of the most elusive and celebrated of all comics artists, Tsuge Yoshiharu is the godfather of avant-garde manga, his dream like surreal works inspired countless imitations and changed the direction of an entire generation of artists. It can't be understated the importance of his legacy.

This volume of "Selected Works" reprints some of Tsuge's earliest works created for the rental manga market. These stories, though drawn for an audience of children, showcase the artist's early ability and skill, they also reveal his infatuation with the work of Osamu Tezuka!
